Hi Ashley,
Disney World is an AMAZING place to celebrate a 16th birthday! Be sure to stop by Guest Relations & pick up a "Happy Birthday" button.
California Grill at the Contemporary Resort would be a great place to celebrate! If you time your reservations right, you can see the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom. This is a place where she can dress up, have great food & celebrate in style.
Narcoossee's at the Grand Floridian is also an excellent choice. You can walk outside to see the fireworks. She can dress up here too.
You're never too old to dine with characters so I'd plan at least one
character meal. And dining at Cinderella's Royal Table is always a treat.
If you're looking for a festive atmosphere that a 16 year old may enjoy, Planet Hollywood at Downtown Disney has lots of cool memorabilia. You could also finish the evening with a ride on Characters in Flight.
50s Prime Time Cafe & the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater at Disney's Hollywood Studios are fun places to eat.
The possibilities at Epcot are awesome! Coral Reef Restaurant offers an incredible aquarium view. San Angel Inn & Teppan Edo are also fun choices.
To add extra pixie dust to her celebration, you could surprise her with a gift from the Disney Floral & Gift Department. You can have something sent to your dining location or room. Dream Makers are available to help seven days a week (8 a.m. - 6 p.m. EST) by calling 407-WDW-GIFT or online at www.disneyflorist.com.
Once you make a dining reservation, you could add to the celebration by ordering a specialty celebration cake which are available for an additional charge & can be ordered at least 48 hours in advance by calling 407-827-2253.
Wishing your daughter many magical birthday memories :-) Allison
