    I'm taking my daughter for the first time for her 2nd birthday. Does Disneyland do anything special or different for birthdays?

    I am glad to hear you’ll be visiting the Disneyland Resort to celebrate your little girl’s birthday. There is nothing quite like spending your special day at the Happiest Place on Earth!

    Be sure to pick up a complimentary birthday button at City Hall in Disneyland Park or at Guest Services in Disney California Adventure Park. It can be customized with her name so the birthday girl will receive personalized birthday wishes from Cast Members all day! If you have any table-service meals planned, let your server know you’re celebrating a birthday because you may receive some extra magic during your dining experience. You can also choose to purchase a custom decorated bakery cake to enjoy after your meal at any table-service restaurant for a memorable birthday surprise! These celebration cakes come in a variety of sizes, flavors and themes and can be ordered in advance by calling (714) 781-DINE (3463). 

    If you plan to stay at a Disneyland Resort Hotel, you can arrange for special Disney gifts and surprises to be delivered directly to your room. There are many gift baskets to choose from that can be customized to a special occasion, favorite Disney character or theme. You can also arrange for your room to be decorated to look like Mickey and the gang stopped by to welcome your family and kick off your vacation with some extra magic!
