    Im taking my daughter to disney world for her 7th birthday in June. I have her favorite aunt, uncle, and cousin come from Michigan to join us and I wanted to pay for their tix. Can I get the FL resident discount for their tickets?

    Hi Crystal!

    I just love all the Walt Disney World perks that come with living in the Sunshine State!  The discounts on Disney Resort hotel rooms and tickets are fantastic.  It's great that you would like to share your Florida resident ticket discount with your family, however, any adult age 18 and over must show proof of Florida residency to purchase, pick up and use the tickets, so you won't be able to purchase tickets for the adult family members.  If you have family that are age 17 and under, you can purchase the discounted tickets for them.  

    Since you'll be visiting this summer, check out Mickey and Minnie's Surprise Celebration at Magic Kingdom Park!  Start the celebration by signing the Celebration Guest Book in Town Square Theater, which my kids did last week.  While you're there, visit with Mickey and Minnie in their bright and beautiful celebration outfits before you head out to the rest of the park to check out more of the special celebration offerings.  

    I have a feeling your 7 year old will love the new Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  My 7 year old always asks to visit Andy's Backyard.  Her favorite attraction in Toy Story Land is Alien Swirling Saucers.  I have never seen her laugh so hard than when she is swirling around on this fun new ride.
