I'm taking my bf to Disneyland/DCA for his birthday. I booked a hotel bundled with 2 SoCal Resident 3-Day Disney Park tickets. If our tickets are only on my Disneyland app, can my bf still enter the park,or does his ticket need be on his account?

Greetings and a warm welcome to planDisney, Maria. I'm so excited about your visit to the Disneyland Resort and I'm delighted to help with your question.

How wonderful that you will be spending your boyfriend's birthday at the Happiest Place on Earth. The spooky season is nearly upon us and Halloween Time will have descended upon the resort just in time for your visit. It won't be long until you are taking in all of the fall decorations (oh hey there, giant Mickey pumpkin) and enjoying a most magical time.

It sounds like you've planned very well and have everything taken care of for your trip. There's no need to worry about your boyfriend's ticket and you can absolutely keep it under your Disney account as is. If he would like to link the ticket under his account, that can be done by taking these easy steps. Open the Disneyland app and tap on the "☰" to open the menu. Next, tap on the tile for "Tickets and Passes" followed by the "+" in the upper right. Finally, you will tap on "Link Tickets & Passes" where you can manually type in the ticket ID number or use the "Camera" feature to scan the barcode and quickly link the ticket under his Disney account.

There will be so much fun to explore in both parks during this spooktacular time. My favorite way to get in the spirit of Halloween is by making a pit stop in "Radiator Screams" to check out the dreadfully delightful decorations. It's best to view these at night and you can even catch all of the neon lights turning on one by one to the tune of "I Put a Spell on You" during this ghoulish time of year. Make sure to be in town around sunset which is when you'll start seeing others gathering around for the occasion.

Oh, and be sure to stop by City Hall in Disneyland Park or the Chamber of Commerce in Disney California Adventure Park for a complimentary Birthday Button for your boyfriend. It makes a fun keepsake and he will enjoy hearing "Happy birthday!" from Cast Members all day long.

Maria, I hope this has been helpful and that you are getting excited about your visit. I wish you a most magical time celebrating and wish your boyfriend a wonderful birthday. Live in the moment and have the best time!
