I'm taking my almost 2 year old daughter to Disney in May. We will be there for 4 days w/ hopper. Is there any advice you could give about attraction lines, what to carry with you, and what attraction would appeal to her. This will be her first-time.

  • Hi, Catherine!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited for your daughter's first visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

When my kids were little, I carried a backpack survival kit with snacks and activity books. I would also collect toddler toys from fast food restaurants and used those items to surprise them while we waited. When the kids got a little older, I allowed technology as a distraction. Don't forget to use the FastPass+ system to enjoy fast access to three attractions in one park each day.

With four days to park hop and explore, I'd recommend you take your time and soak in your Disney experience together. You can loosely plan out each day with the help of this excellent planning page with tips on bringing little ones to Disney.

I can't wait to see all of the ideas my fellow panelists share with you. I know you will have the most unforgettable visit.
