Hi Vanessa!
What an amazing birthday your child is about to have. So much fun!
First of all, try to not feel overwhelmed. There is so much to see and do at Walt Disney World it might take many more trips to see it all. Even the most seasoned Walt Disney World travelers feel like there is much more they haven't seen yet. So, don't worry. Start out with the things you know for sure you want to do and go from there.
The very first thing I would suggest is that you go to
My Disney Experience and create an account. Think of this as a gathering place for all the elements of your vacation. Your MagicBands will link to everything in your account and you will be all ready to go with just that little band on your arm!
Seeing Walt Disney World with a 7-year old will be such an exciting experience. You really truly can't go wrong starting at any of the Parks. If I had to choose, though, I would probably recommend that you start out with Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios (especially if he or she is a Star Wars and/or Frozen fan!) I would be sure to spend some time at Animal Kingdom and Epcot too--there are things there not to be missed! Please hop on over the Walt Disney World website for some great
ideas for vacationing with children. Also, take a look at the
Customize Your Celebration page for some great ways to make a birthday even more special. Most of all, be sure to enjoy every minute of your time with your birthday child and make a lot of magical memories. That is the very best part of what you will find at Walt Disney World--all of the special times just waiting to be shared.
Have a wonderful day!
