    I'm surprising my boyfriend for our five years it's in december. What is the best time of the year to go to walt disney and how to go along with booking and planning the vacation? i've thought about just the disney website, but also a travel agent? help!

    Your boyfriend is a lucky guy!  What a wonderful surprise!  I can't think of a time that's not a "good" one to visit.  However, since you won't have kids in tow, and don't need to worry about travelling when schools are out, I'd recommend trying to visit at an off-peak time.  I love the Fall, early December and early May as options.  You'll enjoy more moderate crowds and be able to see and do more.  As for how to plan, my favorite sources are directly through Disney (this is generally my top  pick) or through my local AAA location.  I've always secured great rates, special offers and wonderful "perks" through both venues.
