Hey there, hi there, ho there, Lauren! You’re as welcome as can be to
planDisney!
I’m so glad to hEAR that you’re planning ahead for 2023… it’s never too soon to start dreaming up your magical plans! Currently,
Disneyland Resort Hotel reservations and
Vacation Packages are available through December of 2022, and 2023 dates haven’t opened up just yet. I did some research, and discovered that Vacation Packages and Resort Hotel reservations tend to open for the following year by the end of summer, typically by the end of August. I recommend checking the website or checking back with us in June or July to see if we have any updates we can pass along!
In the meantime, it’s a good idea to start thinking about where your family would like to stay! I’ve been fortunate enough to stay at all three Disneyland Resort Hotels, and love each one for a different reason. My little Mouseketeers are obsessed with the Disneyland Hotel thanks to the thrilling monorail waterslides! Personally, I adore Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa thanks to its convenient theme-park access to Disney California Adventure Park, and the wonderful dining options. Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel is another great option, thanks to the gorgeous views of Disney California Adventure Park.
As for theme-park
tickets and
park reservations, you can start making theme-park reservations up to 120 days in advance, subject to availability, so you have a little time to wait on booking those. You’ll be able to choose between a One Park Per Day ticket or a Park Hopper ticket. With the One Park Per Day option, you’ll select one theme park, and stay there the entire day, whereas with a Park Hopper, you’ll select one park to start in, and then “hop” to the other park any time after 1:00 PM.
Now for my favorite part of planning… thinking about food! There are so many wonderful options for
dining reservations, so I recommend checking out the menus ahead of time. Currently, dining reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance. I recently dined with friends at
Blue Bayou Restaurant, and the atmosphere alone was magical! It’s the only restaurant at Disneyland Resort that’s actually located inside an attraction! I also had the chance to check out
Goofy’s Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel this past weekend – talk about a party! I’ve never had so much fun eating breakfast! The Character interactions and lively music were so much fun!
If you have any other planning questions as your trip gets closer, please don’t hesitate to return to planDisney! We’d love to help make all your vacation dreams come true!
Happy planning, Lauren!
