I'm never sure where to find the calendar. Would it show the holiday overlays? When do they close haunted mansion?

Hiya, Catherine, and thanks for stopping by planDisney!

I’d love to help you plan for your upcoming visit to the Disneyland Resort. I can’t wait for you to visit in just a few short weeks! First, here’s a link to the Entertainment Schedule. Look for the “Change Date” link in blue on the left side of the screen next to the calendar icon. Once you select your arrival date, you’ll find a list of park hours, parades, nighttime spectaculars, and any attractions closed for refurbishment. I checked the calendar for your arrival date of November 1, 2022, and it shows that “it’s a small world” and Tarzan’s Treehouse will be closed for refurbishment in Disneyland Park, and Redwood Creek Challenge Trail and Monster’s Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue! will be closed for refurbishment in Disney California Adventure Park.

Unfortunately, this calendar doesn’t show holiday attraction overlay dates. However, I can tell you that Haunted Mansion Holiday is one attraction overlay that overlaps between Halloween Time and the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort, too. So, you can expect it to run from now all the way through January 8, 2023! One of the other most popular holiday overlays is “it’s a small world” Holiday, which is scheduled to return on November 11, 2022, when the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort officially kick off for the season. That’s the date other fun holiday overlays will also return, including Mater’s Jingle Jamboree and Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl!

I hope this information helps as you continue planning your visit, Catherine. Please stop by with any additional questions… we’re all EARs!

    Happy planning,
