Welcome aboard, Alejandra!
Congratulations on your anniversary! I don’t think there is a better way to celebrate than by experiencing a Disney Cruise Line vacation.
First-time cruisers often select shorter cruises to dip their toes in and try out sailing on the high seas. But I think you are off to a great start by sailing aboard the
Disney Treasure on a longer cruise. My family’s first cruise was also a seven-night sailing, and we wouldn’t have had it any other way. We felt it was the best way to experience as much of the magical offerings of your ship as possible.
On your seven-night cruise, you’ll have the opportunity to visit each of the three Main Dining rooms at least twice during your
Rotational Dining experience. Unless you have a dinner reservation at
Palo Steakhouse or
Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement, I highly recommend attending your assigned dining rotation restaurant each evening for dinner as close to the scheduled time as possible. Your dedicated serving team will get a better chance to get to know your preferences and make your experience as magical as possible.
Tony’s Tip: Consider purchasing one of the featured “Drinks of the Day” at dinner. They are great ways to sprinkle in a little extra variety and fun in your cruise dining experience. I like how a portion of the auto-gratuity goes to our dedicated serving team members. It’s an easy way to show them how we appreciate their hard work. In my experience, they really appreciate it and strive even more to attend to your needs each night at dinner.
For breakfast and lunch, you will likely wish to experience the complimentary onboard
room service from the comfort of your stateroom, the buffets at Marceline Market, or the whimsical and delicious offerings at Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods. But don’t pass up the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing breakfast or lunch in the designated main dining restaurant, which is usually in one of the two dining rooms of 1923. You’ll not only get a better chance to view the wide array of Walt Disney Company artifacts but you’ll also be pampered with table service comforts by a dining team who will be nearly as attentive and helpful as your regular evening service team.
As a first-time cruiser, I highly recommend that you not skip out on the featured evening entertainment, especially the live Broadway-style Disney shows. They are always phenomenal, adding exclusive value to your Disney Cruise Line vacation. I also suggest getting to know the Entertainment Cast Members. In particular, you’ll want to attend the late evening activities and entertainment exclusively for adults, usually in
Sarabi. Their increasingly engaging offerings will make your cruise unforgettable.
With everything you will want to experience on board the Treasure, you’ll almost forget that you also have some amazing port stops on your itinerary. Don’t worry though, you’ll have time to experience some more of the fun you wanted to try but could fit into your schedule the next time you cruise by taking advantage of the
special onboard-only offer.
I hope you’ll come back to planDisney to tell us how it all worked out. Have a great cruise, Alejandra!
