Welcome back, Abigail!
I'm stoked right alongside you for your first Disney Cruise aboard the
Disney Fantasy. My first cruise was also on the Fantasy, and that ship holds a very special place in my heart.
I have great news for you, as you are welcome to bring snacks into the
theater for your toddler. You can bring factory-sealed, unopened snacks such as crackers and fruit snacks onboard for your son. Just be sure that they aren't homemade and that you keep them unopened before boarding the ship. Please note that any opened food containers are not permitted to be taken off the ship when disembarking, so anything you open on the ship must be consumed or thrown away before you leave the ship on the final morning of your cruise. Because of this rule, I like to bring small servings of individually packaged snacks to avoid waste.
While small snacks are totally fine to bring into the theater, plates of food or ice cream cones are not allowed. My kids learned this the hard way, haha! While a plate of pizza and a show in the theater sounds like a good idea, I think the Crew Members who keep the ship sparkly clean probably think otherwise. The great news is, you can watch a movie on the Funnel Vision near the pool and enjoy the tasty food served nearby. The chicken tenders are a must-try!
Abigail, you are just weeks away from your adventure! Please sail back to us with more questions if you have them.
See ya real soon!
