Walt Disney World is magical any time of day, but there's just something extra special about the parks at night. The sun goes down, the lights go on, and suddenly you're strolling through
a whole new world! Trisha, I'm a BIG fan of staying on-property in Disney World - especially when I can stay at a
deluxe resort. There are LOTS of benefits to staying at a Disney resort, but for me, the biggest perk is
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours. And since you'll be staying at the
Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, you'll get this benefit too!
Trisha, I just took a peek at the
Hours & Events Calendar, and as of right now, I can see that Extra Evening Hours are scheduled for Magic Kingdom Park on Wednesday, July 22nd (10 PM - midnight). Park hours haven't yet been released for July 26th and 27th, so keep an eye on your
My Disney Experience app for the most up-to-date information.
Now, Extended Evening Hours are a great time to hit popular attractions like
TRON Lightcycle / Run and
Tiana's Bayou Adventure. Since crowds are lighter during these events, you're likely to enjoy much shorter waits than usual. But Extended Evening Hours are also a
practically perfect opportunity to slow down and enjoy Magic Kingdom at its finest. My family loves to stroll Main Street U.S.A. to soak up the ambiance, and my favorite way to end the night is with a ride on the
Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover. It's not quite as flashy as a trip through the grid, but that view of Tomorrowland all lit up in neon? Well, that's just pure Disney magic.
