Hi, I'm staying at all star sports hotel, can I visit other resorts pools?

Hi, Rose! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Using a day of our Walt Disney World Resort vacation to enjoy the pool and resort has been something my family really enjoys. There’s nothing like a morning of splashing fun with the kids, a poolside meal and an afternoon nap can’t cure. It’s even better with delivered snacks from a grocery delivery service like Garden Grocer or Instacart!

Sadly, guests are not allowed to “pool hop” to other resorts, as it is a security issue. Each Disney pool has a set number of lifeguards on duty, corresponding to the resort capacity. If guests were allowed to visit any pool, some pools would become overcrowded, and that isn’t safe. You’ll find many of the resort pools have a gated entry where guest must scan their MagicBands for entry to prove they are a guest of that resort. The All-Star Sports Resort boasts two pools, one that’s shaped like a Baseball diamond and the other surrounded by colorful 3-story surfboards. The pool is a 242,471-gallon swimming area that feels just like catching waves at the beach!

If we can help you plan anything else regarding your vacation, please return! And when you’re packing your bags, don’t forget your goggles! You’ve got swimming to do! ~ Lindsey P.
