Welcome back to planDisney, Megan!
As a fellow mama, I completely understand the importance of letting your little Mousketeers burn off some steam. Bikes are permitted in designated Disney Resorts, and you’ll also find
bike rentals available near lakefront boardwalks and woodland trails. These are great for the whole family to explore together!
For more active fun, my little ones absolutely love the pools, campfire activities, and playgrounds at Disney Resorts. At the main pool - like the
Fantasia Pool at
Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort - Cast Members lead games and activities, such as hula contests and dance parties, that keep everyone entertained. There are also several
playgrounds where your kids can run around and have fun at the All-Star Resorts, and some great play spots within the theme parks too.
My kids' favorite at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is
The Boneyard. This extensive playground is a treasure trove of fun where they can dig for fossils and explore to their heart’s content.
At EPCOT, the indoor playground as you exit The Seas with Nemo & Friends is fantastic - air-conditioned and full of fun! Indeed, all of
SeaBase is a delight for the whole family. Also, there's a more traditional playground behind Creations Shop and little splash zones to cool off in the World Celebration area.
In Magic Kingdom Park, the
Dumbo the Flying Elephant playground is located within the ride queue, and you can choose to let your littles play before you board. Nearby, the Casey Jr. Splash ‘N’ Soak area is another hit, especially in the summer.
I hope these tips help keep your little ones happy and enthusiastic during your trip, Megan! Please pop back to
planDisney with any other questions!
