I'm staying Riverside and looking to get into Disney Springs as early as possible for Gideons Cookies! I know the boat service doesn't start until 10am but do the busses to Springs start earlier? Thanks!

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Ryan!

Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED you stopped by, and it is my honor and privilege to help you plan your upcoming trip to Disney World. It looks like you will be arriving in a few weeks—WOO HOO! So, get ready to pack your bags and put on your Mickey ears because you are about to have the most MAGICAL time of your life!

I have to start off by saying that I absolutely LOVE Gideon's Bakehouse. Get ready to enjoy these legendary half-pound cookies with rich flavors, gooey goodness, and a perfect balance of crunch and chew. My family goes here every time we go to Disney Springs, and we have waited for 45 minutes in order to enjoy these delicious cookies! My personal favorite is the Peanut Butter Crunch...it's making my mouth water just thinking about it!

Like Basil from "The Great Mouse Detective," I have used my investigative skills to find you an answer that I think will make you VERY HAPPY! (At Disney, there is nothing better than making the MAGIC!) After speaking with a very helpful Cast Member, she informed me that buses running from Disney Resorts to Disney Springs begin at 9:30 a.m., allowing guests to arrive at Disney Springs right when it opens! This means you can leave Port Orleans - Riverside at 9:30 a.m. and be one of the first people in line to have a COOKIE BRUNCH! (Let us know if we can join you!) Don't you just love happy endings?!

There are so many fun things to do at Disney Springs! You will NOT want to miss browsing around World of Disney, the ultimate store to find the perfect souvenir. With new and exclusive items around every corner, you will feel like a kid in a candy store. Oh, and if you are around for lunch, you MUST eat at The Polite Pig! This is hands-down my family's favorite place to eat at Disney World. In fact, we will eat here multiple times during our vacation!

As you continue to plan, please check out the Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date information regarding all things Disney. Mickey and his pals have some incredible things planned, and we don't want you to miss a thing!

If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to ask. We are here to help in any way we can!

    Have a MAGICAL day!

    Wes
