Hi, I'm staying at Port Orleans French quarter, can I take a bus to another hotel or do they only go to the parks? Thank you.

    Hi Bridget,

Welcome back to planDisney and thank you for asking us a question about my favourite Moderate Resort Hotel: Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter

I think you’ve made a great choice for your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort. I love the French Quarter’s relaxed atmosphere, relatively compact size and, of course… the beignets at Scat Cat's Club - Café! I love scarfing down one (ok, sometimes more than one) beignet either to start my Disney Day or as my pre-bedtime snack. I mean, what’s vacation without a little bit of sugar, right?

Disney Bus Transportation typically doesn’t travel between Disney Resorts Collection hotels. What you’ll need to do instead is travel to a Theme Park and then switch to another hotel, if that’s your destination. That said, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside is a short walk away from the French Quarter, so you can definitely visit that hotel during your stay. You can also take Disney Water Transportation down the Sassagoula River to visit either Disney’s Old Key West Resort or Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, all on the way to Disney Springs

I hope my answer helps you plan smooth travels throughout your upcoming Disney Parks holiday. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
