Hello Jill, and welcome to planDisney.
Oh my goodness, you are SO CLOSE to flying with Dumbo, waving to Mickey Mouse, and smiling for that magical iconic photo in front of Cinderella Castle. I am so excited for you!
As I answer your question, I am sitting in the Grand Floridian lobby, listening to the piano, waiting for that sad ride back to the airport. (sigh) I mention this because, like you, I couldn't wait to get to the parks when I first arrived early in the morning. I'm happy to let you know that you won't have any problems parking before check-in at
Pop Century. When you arrive in the morning, you can park your car at the hotel, check your bags with
Bell Services, and then take a bus to the parks. I've done this at Pop Century several times, and it's a quick and easy process. To make everything go even faster, have your reservation number and ID ready to show security upon arrival when you pull in. Then, at the end of your magical theme park adventure day, you can hop back on a bus, and your luggage can be delivered right to your room. Yay!
Jill, I don't know what you have planned, but I wanted to let you know that Easter has arrived here at the Grand Floridian. I hope you'll have time to visit the stunning chocolate Easter egg displays in the lobby! It's wonderful when the Easter Bunny and Mickey Mouse come together to create a little extra magic. Once you arrive, the egg displays should also be at Disney's Yacht Club, Beach Club, and Contemporary Resorts! I hope you can hop, hop, hop through the Easter displays!
Also, don't forget that the
International Flower & Garden Festival is in full bloom at EPCOT. The topiaries are beautiful, and the
Liquid Nitro Honey-Mascarpone Cheesecake was AHH-MAZING!
Thanks for hopping over to see us at planDisney! We are Guests just like you who love helping you experience the magic! Have the best days ever!
Wishing you blue skies and sunshine!
