Epcot at Dusk

    I’m staying at Pop Century and doing Epcot After Hours this summer. The website says check in for the event is at the main entrance. Does this mean I can’t take the Skyliner? Will buses be running during event hours? I don’t have a ticket for the day.

    Welcome to planDisney! You are in for a treat! My family loves Disney's Pop Century Resort and EPCOT! The Disney Skyliner has changed the transportation game. A smooth and scenic ride that whisks you away from your Resort right to the International Gateway at EPCOT. 

    I have some good news for you! I confirmed with a friendly Cast Member who informed me that you can definitely check in to your Disney After Hours at EPCOT event at either the International Gateway entrance or the Main Gate. Speak to the Cast Members and make sure you get your special event wristband. Since you only have the After Hours event ticket for that day you can enter EPCOT as early as 7 PM before the event officially starts at 10 PM. It gives you plenty of time to get a nice dinner and get ready for the three hours of fun that will be coming your way! While other guests will be escorted out you can stay and enjoy for the first time ever After Hours at EPCOT!

    I also confirmed that buses and all other complimentary Walt Disney World Resort Transportation will run up to two hours after the event ends. So don't worry. You will make it back to your room to sleep and recharge for the next Disney day! 

    I hope you get a chance to ride Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind! It's an amazing indoor rollercoaster that transports you into an immersive battle in space! I consider it my favorite attraction in all of Walt Disney World. I would recommend if you have motion sickness consider kindly asking for a ride vehicle in the middle when in the loading area. I also recommend if you have long hair tie it back. I promise you will thank me for that bit of advice.
