Hi, I’m staying at POFQ in July and I was wondering since there so many great places to eat at other hotels, can you just go to other hotels and use their counter service with a dining plan or just use their restaurants/lounges. Thanks Melissa

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Melissa Ann! I'm so glad you stopped by with your question.

Not only may you use your Disney Dining Plan quick service meal and snack entitlements at Disney Resort hotels other than the one you'll call home during your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation, you absolutely should! Did you know that there are currently 306 quick service restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort? Oh, the possibilities! You have so many wonderful choices, Melissa Ann. There's no reason to restrict yourself to your home resort. My family loves to explore different Disney Resort hotels and dine in their restaurants while on vacation. So, definitely plan to check out the restaurants and lounges all over Walt Disney World Resort property.

And, if I may offer an additional tip, be sure to save at least one of your Disney Dining Plan snack entitlements for the delicious beignets available at the Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory at your home resort. Those beignets are one of the reasons that Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter is my favorite moderate resort.

Wishing you many magical memories on your upcoming trip,
    Jill
