Ahoy, Jennifer! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so glad you’ve sailed in our direction!
I am so thrilled to hear you will be spending some time in a Pirate-themed Room at
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort in just a few short months! I recently had a chance to tour these rooms and was blown away by the immersive theming within them, from the full-sized Pirate beds to the wooden powder keg which opens to reveal a mini refrigerator inside! One thing I did not see, however, is a microwave. These are not found in the
Resort Hotel rooms -- but never fear -- they are not far away! I looked on the treasure map, and X marked the spot for me at the
Centertown Market at Old Port Royale! In addition to microwaves for your personal use being found there, you will discover Quick Service and grab ‘n’ go meal options as well. My sources tell me that this location is approximately a 5-10 minute walk from the Trinidad area of the Resort, where the Pirate-themed rooms can be found.
In order to fully immerse yourself and your buccaneers in the Pirate’s life, I’d like to recommend a few additional adventures during your Walt Disney World Vacation! First off, consider a visit to the
Pirate’s League during your time at
Magic Kingdom Park. Please know that it will permanently close on July 27, 2020, therefore our Park treasure maps will no longer show its location, so better find it while you can! For more swashbuckling fun, consider the
Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage for a family journey, or
Captain Hook’s Pirate Crew for an adventure meant for junior Pirates only!
Well Jennifer, I hope you find this information helpful in planning for your springtime adventures with your special own crew! May the seas be clear, and know that we will be here for you when and if you need us again!
See ya real soon!
