Hey Howdy Hey Jennifer and welcome to planDisney!
There is so much excitement happening in the parks right now and I am happy to hear you will be there to experience so much so soon! During your stay, you are correct that
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be taking place in Magic Kingdom on select nights. Let's talk about your options if you are not attending.
On the nights that the party will be held, the parks will close to regular Guests at 6:00 PM as the party officially starts at 7:00 PM. I am sorry to say that no matter where you stay, this separately ticketed event does require a ticket to attend. Cast Members will start to patrol the parks at 6:00 PM to update those not attending the party of the park closure.
Now, just because you may have to leave the park early, does not mean the party is over for you. One option you have is to reschedule your day in Magic Kingdom for another that does not have the party going on. You can also make the most of the time and do a little resort hopping. The
Walt Disney World Monorail will take you to each of the three Magic Kingdom resorts on the monorail loop. It may be a fun time to visit each other, try out specialty Halloween desserts and just enjoy the resorts.
You have a full list of tasty treats to check out from our friends over at the Disney Parks Blog with
Disney Eats: Foodie Guide to Halloween Treats at Walt Disney World Resorts 2024. This can be a fun way to get in the Halloween spirit while checking out different resorts. Also, keep an eye on the timing as visiting
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is an amazing place to watch the fireworks from the beach. This is one of the better views from outside of the park and with the music piped in, is a great place to watch the show!
I hope this information was helpful so you can better plan your holiday experience. If you have any other questions, please let us know, we are always happy to help!
