I'm staying offsite. I'll link my tickets to Magic Bands we purchase from Disney Store. Can we add a credit card to the bands if we're not staying at a resort? It would be a great way to give the kids spending "money" without worrying about them

    Hi, Sarah!

Credit cards can only be linked to MagicBands if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. An alternative idea that may work for your family is to purchase Disney Gift Cards for each of your children. By using the cards, you are able to predetermine a spending budget for them as well as give each child the exact same amount to spend.  The remaining balances are printed right on the receipts each time a purchase is made so everyone can easily track their spending. You can use the Disney Gift Cards for food and merchandise at all of the Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks, hotels, and most Downtown Disney locations. Disney Gift Cards can be purchased at your local Disney Store, or even some stores such as Target and CVS.

Wishing you and your family a magical vacation, Sarah!

Meet the Panelist: Rachel, Wisconsin

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
