Hi! I'm staying 2 nights at the campgrounds at fort wilderness, but I'm going to the parks for 3 days. On the day before and after my check in/check out times, can I still park at the Fort Wilderness resort? Thanks!

Welcome to planDisney, The! Oh boy, I bet you are excited about your upcoming stay at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. The magic of Disney's theme parks right on your doorstep while staying in 750 acres of pine and cypress forest - now that really is enchanting.

On the day of your arrival, I suggest having your Disney Resort hotel linked to your My Disney Experience App. Once you arrive at the Resort entrance, you can show your reservation in My Disney Experience to a friendly Cast Member who should guide you toward the best parking area. You may then head to the Reception Outpost and check in at the front desk. No worries if you're early, you may store any baggage in the secure storage area behind the front desk should you wish, and head straight into the Parks to enjoy your day.

To do so, you may likely want to avail of Disney's free Resort transportation. Now, depending on which Park you would like to visit, you can catch bus transportation to the Parks from the Outpost Depot (near the resort entrance), or if you would like to arrive in style at Magic Kingdom Park, you can take the water taxi from the Boat Launch near the Settlement Trading Post. Just imagine, before you know it, you could be Walking Right Down the Middle of Main Street U.S.A., with Cinderella Castle in the distance -what a magical moment.

I wish you all the best for your Walt Disney World adventure, and should you need anything further, please pop back here, Louise.
