Hi Anna,
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney! I’ll admit, I’ve been comparing the
Dining Plan options for my future Walt Disney World Resort vacations, so I was very interested in finding the answer to your question.
You would need to
add a Dining Plan to each vacation package you booked for a scheduled arrival on or after January 9, 2024. The number of meals and snacks included in your Dining Plan is determined by the number of nights in your package stay. You can redeem these meals and snacks during your stay
until midnight on your package reservation checkout date. They will expire and do not roll over to your next vacation package. You can
track your meals and snacks by visiting your Resort Concierge or any Guest Relations location, or in your My Disney Experience mobile app by clicking the three horizontal lines in the bottom right of your screen, and selecting the tile labeled “My Resort Stay.” Click “Check Dining Plan” to view a list of dining plan meals and snacks available and redeemed.
If you haven’t already, you can see a list of participating restaurants by visiting the Dining page on the Walt Disney World Resort website and
filtering by “Dining Plan” or “Quick-Service Dining Plan.” When I spoke to a Cast Member, they suggested that you continue to check this site as your vacation gets closer, as additional restaurants may be added!
I hope this was helpful, Anna. The return of Dining Plans was an exciting announcement along with
other updates for Guests visiting in 2024, such as the continuation of
Early Theme Park Entry for Disney Resort hotel guests. If you have any future planning questions, you can
find me here at planDisney!
