Hi Eric,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village is such a beautiful resort – I hope you get lots of chances to go down that amazing 128-foot slide at the Samawati Springs pool!
I don’t think you’re going to have a problem getting to your 8:00 a.m. dining reservation at
Tusker House Restaurant using
Disney Bus Transportation. There is usually an early bus available for Guests with early dining reservations, and there are still lots of Guests heading to Disney’s Animal Kingdom very early in order to beat the crowds to
Pandora – The World of Avatar. My suggestion is to stop at your resort’s front desk and ask a Cast Member when you should be at the bus stop in order to give yourself time to get to your reservation. When you arrive at the park, check to see if there is a special line for Guests with dining reservations; if you don’t see one, ask your friendly Security Cast Member, as he or she can point you in the right direction.
Enjoy Tusker House, Eric! My family just enjoyed brunch there a few weeks ago, and we loved meeting Donald and friends in their safari gear. The breakfast buffet is really delicious, and I encourage you to try a little of everything, as it’s a fantastic mix of African and American foods. My absolute favorite was the warm banana bread pudding – so incredibly good!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
