I’m staying at the Grand Floridian on the 11 th and 12th May, can I park in resort parking on the morning of 11th prior to checking in?

Hello there, Deborah! A very warm welcome to planDisney on this cold winter's day in the UK. Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is the ultimate stay across Walt Disney World. I bet you're counting down the days til you're welcomed into that opulent lobby!

Yes, you are allowed to park at your Disney Resort for the entire duration of your stay. When you arrive at the gate on May 11, a friendly Cast Member will greet you and ask to see your Disney Resort hotel booking in your My Disney Experience. Once you show them your booking, they will politely direct you to Guest Parking.

The Cast Members at Walt Disney World understand the value of each moment of your time. So, as you plan to arrive well before check-in time, I suggest that once you are parked, bring your luggage to Bell Services, who can securely hold your bags until required. You could use the Online Check-In service, meaning you do not need to visit the Front Desk and are free to explore the Resort or Theme Parks. You'll receive a notification when your room is ready in your My Disney Experience App. Whenever you are inclined, pop back to Bell Services, pick up your bags and head to your tasteful Mary Poppins-themed room. Simply follow the same steps in the opposite order when checking out to make the most of your time before you depart.

One more recommendation before I go. The Enchanted Rose lounge offers expert crafted cocktails in a captivating environment. There's no booking required so it's the perfect spot for an impromptu welcome drink!

I wish you a truly magical stay, Deborah! I'm here at planDisney, if you need anything else, Louise.
