Welcome to planDisney, Pat!
It is a pleasure to answer your first question. We are thrilled to help you plan a magical Disney vacation!
Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotels are a great option for Guests looking for value, comfort and convenience. They are AAA-approved, meet Disney standards for quality and service, provide transportation to select theme parks, and many locations even include breakfast. Because of these great features, I will be staying at a Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotel for the first time this year.
Please note that special Guest benefits like Extra Magic Hours and early access to FastPass+ planning (both benefits suspended for the time being due to the current situation) are available to Guests of Disney Resort hotels,
Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort, Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels, and select Bonnet Creek Resorts. These Guests must link their hotel reservation to their
Disney account to enjoy their benefits, however, if your hotel does offer access to Guest benefits, it may not be possible to link your reservation to My Disney Experience. You are welcome to call (407) 939-1935 for more detailed information about linking reservations to a Disney account.
Pat, remember that you should still link
valid theme park tickets to
My Disney Experience to make
Disney Park Pass reservations prior to your visit. You can also link
dining reservations,
MagicBands and
Memory Maker to your account.
Thank you so much for sending your question our way. I hope this helps you while planning and that you come back to visit us real soon for more tips and advice.
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
