I'm staying at French Quarter. I see that two parks are at the same bus stop. Are the lines divided between parks? I am on a scooter, are these lines clearly marked? I am use to All Stars setup

    Hi, there!

Welcome back to planDisney, Marlene. We just love when you stop by with your Disney vacation planning questions!

I think you're really going to love Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. This unique Disney Resort hotel is brimming with New Orleans charm with wrought iron fences, cobblestone streets, and smooth jazz music floating in the air. It's positively lovely! One of my favorite things about Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter is its small "footprint." Compared to many other Disney Resort hotel properties, French Quarter is much smaller, making it very easy to explore and navigate! The small footprint also contributes to the small bus station area. There are technically two bus stops, but they are right next to one another, each serving two theme parks. Each bus stop can only accommodate one bus at a time, so if, say, a bus for EPCOT is loading and the bus for Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park pulls up behind it, that second bus just waits until the first bus departs to pull up and begin loading. In my experience, it's a very efficient system. The destination of each bus is clearly marked on the front of the bus, so you'll always be sure where you're headed! There is also a clearly marked space to designate where you should load the bus with your scooter.

While you're at Disney's Port Orleans - French Quarter, be sure to stop by Scat Cat's Club - Café for freshly-baked, Mickey-shaped beignets. They're heavenly! I very much recommend the strawberry dipping sauce - YUM. When my husband and I last stayed at Disney's Port Orleans - French Quarter, we'd grab those beignets first thing in the morning to eat while we waited for a bus to the theme parks. BEST way to start a magical day!

I hope this was helpful, Marlene. Please visit us again with any new questions you may have about your Disney vacation! As always, we'd love to help you plan a magical visit.
