Hi Lauren! Welcome back to planDisney! We just love helping our fellow Guests, so I am so glad you stopped by with another fantastic question!
Isn't it amazing that as you travel between
Disney Resorts Collection hotels, the immersive theming really makes you feel like you have been transported to another fabulous destination somewhere across the globe? So why not go from exploring the majestic pine forests of America's Northwest at
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort to gazing out onto an African savanna at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge all in the same day?
Lauren, you can absolutely visit Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge without having to be a Guest staying at the resort. It's such a special place, so I always suggest finding some time to stop over to view the more than 30 species of wildlife roaming the savannas. While there are so many fantastic areas to spot the animals, my personal favorite is the Uzima Savanna Overlook right next to the
Uzima Spring Pool at Jambo House. If visiting in the evening, you can head over to the front desk at Kidani Village, where they offer night vision goggles so you can observe the wildlife even in the dark. Isn't that awesome?
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge has so much more than just breathtaking savanna views. In my opinion, one of the absolute best restaurants at Walt Disney World is
Sanaa, with its world-famous Indian-style Bread Service. I recommend using the
My Disney Experience app to book an
Advanced Dining Reservation at Sanaa for a really memorable dining experience. You might even spot an animal or two as you are enjoying your meal!
Lauren, I hope your upcoming
Walt Disney World Vacation is a magical adventure! We hope to see you again soon to answer any other questions you may have!
Until next time,
Diana
