Hi Amy, welcome to planDisney!
You are living my childhood dream of growing up and having a job where I can go to conferences at Walt Disney World Resort. Staying at the
Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel puts you in the middle of my dream and the magic. You can walk or take a short boat ride to two theme parks: Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT.
Having recently stayed at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, let's see if I can help get your resort reservation linked to your
My Disney Experience account so you can continue making plans. Generally speaking, it's best to wait 24-48 hours after booking before attempting to link the reservation to your
My Disney Experience account. If you received confirmation about your hotel stay over 48 hours ago, you should be good to proceed with the linking process.
You
link a Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel reservation to your My Disney Experience account by entering the reservation number found in your confirmation email as well as the last name on the reservation. My reservation confirmation number was an eight-digit number received in an email from Marriott. Since your hotel stay was booked with a group as part of a conference, Amy, you may need to contact the hotel directly to receive a confirmation code that works for My Disney Experience linking purposes. When I called to straighten out the names of the people listed on my reservation, the staff was extremely kind and helpful.
I hope your conference aligns with one of the
seasonal EPCOT Festivals, Amy. The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival, EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival, and EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays will help make sure your trip is anything but all work and no play. If you'd like to make an advance reservation for dining, a stay at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel qualifies you to make dining reservations for your entire length of stay (up to 10 days)
online 60 days before check-in.
Whistle while you work,
Jennifer
