I’m staying at the Disneyland villas and I was wondering how to request a room with a balcony?

Welcome to planDisney, Andrea. Staying in the Disney bubble during your visit to the Disneyland Resort will be extra magical. Planning all of the little details leading up to your trip is part of the fun, so let's talk about your hotel stay.

The Villas at Disneyland Hotel is a great choice for your upcoming stay. I love all of the magical details and mid-century modern vibes I get when staying in the Discovery Tower. I can picture it now, enjoying a cup of coffee on the balcony, or just stepping out to feel the warm California sun on your face.

When it comes to rooms with balconies, this will partially depend on which room type you have booked. With the exception of the Garden Rooms, none of the Deluxe Studios have a balcony. I did confirm with a Cast Member that 1-Bedroom, 2-Bedroom and 3-Bedroom Villas all have a balcony. If you happened to book a Duo Studio, only some of these rooms have a balcony. To make a request, you can call the Front Desk at (714) 778-6600 to speak with a Cast Member, or use the chat feature in the Disneyland App or on the Disneyland website. Keep in mind that while Cast Members do their very best to make magic happen, requests are never guaranteed.

When staying at a Disneyland Resort hotel, you'll receive one complimentary Lightning Lane entry per registered guest that can be redeemed during your stay (including your check-in and check-out day). I loved having this benefit during my last stay. You don't need to schedule it and can just scan your pass at an eligible attraction when you're ready to redeem. This gives you more time to enjoy that coffee on the balcony in the morning before heading to the parks!

Andrea, I hope that this is helpful as you're putting things into place for your visit. Please come back to see us if you think of any other questions before your trip. Here's wishing you a magical visit, making core memories at the Happiest Place on Earth.
