Im staying at the disneyland resort hotel at Anaheim California do i need a wristband to enter the pool? and to get on the monorail?

    Greetings Valerie!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I just love that you are staying at one of the amazing Disneyland Resort Hotels, where the magic doesn't have to stop when you leave the theme parks! We love staying on Disneyland Resort property for the friendly customer service, unique amenities, delicious dining options, and fantastic pools. To enter a pool area at these hotels, you will just need your hotel room key. Once in the pool area you may be given a wristband to show you are a hotel Guest. I just adore the retro-themed pools at the Disneyland Hotel with their iconic monorail waterslides. It's also fun to take a quick break with a refreshing beverage at Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar just footsteps from the pool area. You can also grab a Dole Whip from The Coffee House near these pools as well. In fact, this is the only location in the Disneyland Resort outside the park where you can grab this famous frozen treat.

When entering the Disneyland Monorail from the Downtown Disney District, you will need to have a park ticket since this method of transportation takes you directly into Tomorrowland of Disneyland Park. If you are utilizing this "highway in the sky" on a morning when Disneyland Park has an Extra Magic Hour for hotel Guests, then you must also show your room key with your park admission.

I hope this helps, and I can't wait for your magical stay at the Disneyland Resort!
