Hi there, Dexter! Welcome to planDisney!
You are going to love staying in the magic of the
Disneyland Hotel from the nostalgic photos of Walt in the lobby building the Happiest Place on Earth to the Monorail-inspired pool to the modern amenities. It's my absolute favorite place to stay on property!
I have some good news for you! If you are a Guest of a Disneyland Resort Hotel, you can take advantage of the newly returned
Early Entry perk even on the day of your arrival! Early Entry allows Guests to explore the parks 30 minutes ahead of park opening, which would be
7:30 a.m. on your September 6th park day. You will be able to enter either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park depending on your theme park reservation for that day.
I highly recommend linking your tickets and hotel reservations to your account on the
Disneyland.com website and ensuring everything is synced in your
Disneyland Mobile App. This will keep all those important details accessible from your fingertips! One thing to note is that you will need to be checked in to your hotel to take advantage of Early Entry on your arrival day. You can actually check in up to five days ahead of time on the Disneyland.com website if your hotel reservation is linked to your account. This is a great way to get a jump start on the magic, especially if you are trying to make it to Early Entry!
When you arrive at the Disneyland Resort, you will see many signs that will guide you to the Disneyland Hotel. Once you turn into the driveway, you will again see signs for
valet or the self-parking option. Guests who are checking in can access self-parking as early as 6 a.m., which is also when the Front Desk opens if you need to check in onsite. You can park your car, leave your bags with Bell Services and immediately head to the Main Entrance Gate or the
Disneyland Monorail! The Disneyland Monorail is located just a few steps from the Disneyland Hotel and will also open at 7:30 a.m. for Early Entry. You can skip the line at the Main Entrance Gate and sail straight into Tomorrowland Station ... and enjoy 13 scenic minutes of beautiful views along the way. I love this option, especially if you're short on time. It's just a hop, skip, and a jump to Space Mountain once you arrive!
One of my favorite ways to start a park day when staying at the Disneyland Hotel is to Mobile Order coffee and a breakfast treat from
The Coffee House while I'm getting ready. You can easily pick it up on your way out to the parks and munch and caffeinate as you stroll through Downtown Disney District. In the evenings, you will love grabbing a DOLE WHIP® from
Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill, sitting on the outdoor patio, and just taking in all the sights and sounds of the day. Be sure to take some time to soak it all in!
Dexter, you are in for quite a ride next month!
Halloween Time will be in full swing, so prepare for some happily haunted experiences and some friendly Mickey pumpkins lighting your way!
Stay in the magic!
Tara
