If I'm staying at a Disney World Resort Hotel, do I still get in to the parks an hour early?

Hello, Jonathan! For some reason I was naturally drawn to answering your question! I am glad to hear that you are staying at a hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection! Guests of the Disney Resorts Collection enjoy complimentary transportation during their stay, proximity to the Disney Parks, the opportunity to see Disney Characters in their resort hotel, and the true feel of being "in the magic" at the Most Magical Place on Earth!

The Walt Disney World Resort previously offered a benefit known as Extra Magic Hours. This benefit allowed Guests staying at a Disney Resort Hotel to enter a specific park, up to one hour early in the morning (or stay in a specific park after closing time in the evening). The benefit was discontinued after the Disney Parks reopened this past summer.

The Disney Parks are currently preparing a new early-entry benefit! This new benefit will allow Guests of a hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection the opportunity to enter any of the four Disney Parks a half-hour prior to opening every day! The new benefit will most likely launch this fall to coincide with The World's Most Magical Celebration in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort!

Jonathan, as an extra tip, complimentary Disney Transportation is advertised as beginning 45-minutes prior to posted park opening times. However, it has been my experience that complimentary transportation begins running even a little earlier. It doesn't hurt to be at the bus stop, Monorail station, boat launch, or Skyliner station a little earlier than posted starting time!
