im staying at Disney all star music with family from the UK. We need rooms together and close to main entrance. we did not book through travel agent. how do we contact Disney to make request without having to ring direct.

    Hi Tanya!

Walt Disney World is an awesome place for a family reunion. I've done them before and they've always been a huge success. There's literally something for everyone to do; from the young to the young-at-heart.

Great question about the adjoining rooms. My advice would be to call Disney at: (407) 939-1936 and have a special request be added to your resort reservation. Keep in mind that the cast members can't guarantee that your special request will be honored, but they will certainly do their best to accommodate you.

Here's a little tip from your buddy Derek:

When you're about a week away from your arrival date, call back to double-check that the special request is still attached to your resort reservation. This type of precaution has saved me a couple of times because, for whatever reason, the special requests I previously made didn't stick. It's better to be safe than sorry!

I hope that helps. If you should have any additional questions, please feel free to write back and I'll be happy to help in any way that I can.

    Best regards,
    Derek

(P.S. - Make sure you save some time for swimming because they have two awesome pools at the All-Star Music Resort!)
