I'm staying at a Disney resort for my vacation but I'm visiting Disney before my check in date. I have the Dining plan with my vacation and I was wondering if I can use my Dining plan credits before my check in date?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Chelsea! Thank you for stopping by and bringing us such a great question.

I completely understand wanting to jump in on the fun, and tasty Disney food, as soon as you arrive! There’s just so much to see, taste, and explore at the most magical place on earth. Soon enough you’ll be right there enjoying it all. Yay!

Chelsea, when it comes to your Magic Your Way vacation package with a Disney Dining Plan, your dining credits won’t be available for use until the check-in date of your resort reservation. But as Timon and Pumbaa would say, Hakuna Matata! There are many great options that won’t break your budget in the parks and throughout the resort and Disney Springs where you can enjoy some budget friendly meals on that day before your Dining Plan credits are available to you.

Some of my favorite quick service options are Capt’ Cooks at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza at Disney Springs, and Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Café at Magic Kingdom. And now I’m officially hungry!

I hope you have a magical and tasty time during your visit! Be sure to lock in all your favorite restaurant reservations early! You can begin making all your Advance Dining Reservations as early as 180-days ahead.

Have a magical day and come back and see us again soon,
