Hi there! I'm staying at a Disney Resort for two nights, and bought two 1-park tickets when I paid for the room. Is it possible to have one of those day tickets changed to a park-hopper?

    Hiya Sarah!

I'm so happy to hear you have a magical vacation coming up! You'll soon be making wonderful memories at The Most Magical Place on Earth.

If you've already purchased your Theme Park Tickets and would like to add the Park Hopper option to one of them, it's easy to upgrade the ticket using the My Disney Experience Mobile app. Here are the steps you'll need to follow:

    1) Open the My Disney Experience mobile app on your device.
    2) Choose the Menu option in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
    3) Select the icon that reads "Tickets and Passes". You'll see a list of the tickets associated with your account.
    4) Select the ticket you'd like to upgrade.
    5) Select "Change Ticket", and make sure the ticket has a green check next to it.
    6) Select "Continue", choose "Ticket Type", and add Park Hopper Option.
    7) Make payment for the upgrade and you're good to go!

If you have any issues with your upgrade, you can always visit Guest Relations to change your ticket as well. There are Guest Relations windows located close to the entrances of all four theme parks.

Guests with Park Hopper tickets are able to "hop" to more than one theme park each day after 2pm. As Guests Return to a World of Magic, there are a few guidelines to follow for Park Hopping. First, you'll need to secure a Disney Park Pass reservation for the first park you'd like to visit. Then, you'll enter the park you reserved, scanning a MagicBand, Theme Park Ticket, or using Disney MagicMobile at the point of entry. (Note: You have to visit the first park to be able to hop to any others.) After 2pm, Park Hopping is an option, subject to park capacity limitations.

I hope this helps with your ticketing question! Please come back and visit us at planDisney with any questions you think of as your vacation gets closer - we're happy to help!
