Hi Mark!
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with this great question! I'm excited to hear that you're planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!
Mark, there will be a few things to consider to help determine how long you have to use your ticket package. If you plan to book your
Disney Resorts hotel and ticket package together, you'll have at least the length of your stay to use your tickets and special visits. For example, if you book a 10-day stay coupled with a 4-day park ticket, you'll have all 10 days to use your tickets. When adding the Water Park and Sports Option to your ticket package, you'll be awarded four additional visits to other Walt Disney World fun. This includes visits to the water parks, miniature golf courses, and the
ESPN Wide World of Sports. You can spread out your visits over the entirety of your stay.
If you book your ticket package separately from your resort reservation, you will not be allotted the same amount of days. A
4-day stand-alone ticket package with the Water Park and Sports Option added gives you seven consecutive days to use all of your visits. In this scenario, you'll need to double up one of your days with more than one activity. If Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park is open during your stay, pairing this experience with a round of golf at
Winter Summerland Miniature Golf is a perfect alternative. They are located within steps of each other, which allows you to have fun at both before heading back to your resort for the evening.
I hope this information helps you determine the best option for your stay. If you haven't done so already, the
"Build Your Vacation" toolbar located at the top of the Walt Disney World website is the fastest way to book your vacation. It takes only a matter of moments and provides all the available options for your trip!
Happy planning!
