Hi Laurence,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!
If you’ve purchased your
Theme Park Tickets for your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort other than directly through Disney, you’ll likely need to pick that ticket up at
Guest Relations, located outside of any one of the Theme Parks or at Disney Springs. When you purchased your ticket, you should have gotten a confirmation number. If you have it, you can try linking your ticket to your
My Disney Experience account, which will then let you link your ticket to the
MagicBand that will be waiting for you at your Walt Disney World Resort hotel when you start your stay.
As for whether you can activate your ticket at your Disney Resort Hotel’s
Lobby Concierge, that will depend on the type of Theme Park Ticket that you’ve purchased. You can typically activate tickets that weren’t purchased with a
Special Offer at the Concierge desk, but there are times when that doesn’t work and you’ll need to head to Guest Relations. My advice would be to try it; the line usually isn’t that bad at your Resort and, if it doesn’t work, you’ll be no worse off than if you didn’t!
I hope my answer helps you get your visit to Walt Disney World Resort off to a smooth start. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. We’re here to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
