Im staying at a Disney Resort and able to make my fastpass reservations at 7 am EST on Sept 17. I'm normally on my morning commute during that time but will be able to make reservations at 8 am, is 1 hr too late or should I be ok?

    Hi Courtney,

Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah!! You must be getting SO EXCITED for your November getaway to the Walt Disney World Resort! You'll be visiting at a really fun time as the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival will still be going on, but you'll also find lots of signs of the holidays popping up all around the Resort. You're going to LOVE it!

FastPass+ planning day is always so much fun because it's at that point that you'll really see your itinerary come together. Since you'll be staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you'll be able to take advantage of making your selections early, 60 days before your check-in date. I just double checked your date for you, and it looks like your planning day will actually be Thursday, September 19th. If you happen to be commuting to work that day, too, I wouldn't worry about not logging on right at 7:00 a.m. Eastern time. While it's great if you can, there will still be availability an hour later, too. As a Disney Resort hotel Guest, you'll also have the benefit of being able to make your FastPass+ selections for the entire length of your trip, so you'll still have an advantage over other Guests arriving the day after you. Once you've safely arrived and have a chance to log on, I'd suggest making the selections towards the end of your trip first. You'll find the most availability then, and will have the best shot of grabbing some of those harder-to-find selections. Of course, did you know that another Mouseketeer from your Family & Friends list could always make selections for you, too? If someone else has the ability to log on beginning at 7:00 a.m., they could help you if there's a certain attraction and/or time you're really hoping to book. I'm sending some pixie dust that you'll find the perfect FastPass+ selections for your trip!

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Courtney, and please let us know if we can help with anything else as you're planning your trip. I hope that you have a truly magical vacation!
