Hello Lauren! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
One of the most valuable
benefits for Guests who stay at at a Walt Disney World Resort is being able to book Advanced Dining Reservations for up to 10 days starting on the first day of your vacation at the 180-day mark. This allows Guests to get the jump on prime Dining Locations earlier than other Guests.
Whenever I have logged into
My Disney Experience Account early at the 180-day mark to book all of my family's planned Advanced Dining Reservations(so, every time), any days outside of my Walt Disney World Resort Vacation that fall within the 10-day window but after my Check-Out date have not been included for booking Advanced Dining Reservations.
This makes sense as the benefit is a reward for while you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. Unfortunately, that means that any
Advanced Dining Reservations for Dining Locations once you go off-property for the Saturday to Wednesday portion of your vacation will not be privy to the benefit. You will have to log into My Disney Experience at the 180-day window for the date you are planning for your Advanced Dining Reservations.
I recommend that you schedule those really difficult Advanced Dining Reservations for the Friday night for the best chance to take advantage of the benefit. As well, Guests are constantly modifying and canceling their reservations, so keep checking for difficult Advanced Dining Reservations right up until the date you plan to dine.
Bon Appétit!
