I’m staying in a Disney hotel and have the booking showing in my Disneyland Paris app, but it is not allowing me to book a character breakfast, or tables for restaurants yet. Whenever I try it only shows dates up until end of July and I’m staying in August

Hi Laura and bienvenue to planDisney.

How exciting that you'll be visiting Disneyland Paris this Summer! Be sure not to miss the all-new Disney Music Festival and utterly amazing Disney Tales of Magic whilst you're there.

When you have booked to stay at a Disney Hotel and linked your booking in the Disneyland Paris app, you should be able to make dining reservations straight away, up to a year in advance. I, myself, have a booking for November and was able to make all of my dining reservations months ago.

If you are experiencing difficulties in making dining reservations, the first thing I would do is to double-check that your booking has linked correctly in the Disneyland Paris app. When you log into the app, click on where it says "Account" in the bottom right hand corner of the home screen. Then click on "My Hotel Bookings" and in the "Upcoming" section, you should be able to see your booking.

If you can see your booking, go back to the home screen and click on "Food" followed by "See All" under "Table Booking Restaurants" and try to "Find a Table" at your restaurant of choice. Once you click onto the restaurant, the calendar should automatically jump to the dates of your booking.

Character Dining is, however, a little bit different. Guests who have booked a Hotel + Ticket package are able to add Character Dining to their booking at the time of booking or, after they have booked (subject to availability).

If you have booked directly with Disneyland Paris, this can be done via your MyDisney Account once you have paid for your booking in full. If you haven't yet paid in full, you can still add Character Dining by calling the phone number provided in your confirmation letter or via the Live Chat function on the Disneyland Paris website or Disneyland Paris app.

Top Tip - The Live Chat function can be accessed by clicking on "Ask your question" in the blue box that says "Need help?" which pops up while you are browsing the Disneyland Paris website and/or Disneyland Paris app.

If you have booked a Hotel + Ticket package with a third-party travel agent, they should be able to add Character Dining onto your existing booking for you (subject to availability).

If you have not booked a Hotel + Ticket package stay at a Disney Hotel, you can book a Character lunch/dinner 60days in advance and/or a Character breakfast 3 days in advance via the Disneyland Paris app or, website (subject to availability).

I hope that this has answered your question, Laura and will keep my fingers crossed that you're able to get all of the dining reservations that you are hoping for. Please feel free to re-visit us, here at planDisney, if we can be of any further help with the planning of your visit.

Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
