Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Shelly!
The Disney Dining Plan is such a tasty way of adding dining costs into your vacation budget, and with several different plans available, there is one to please the palette, and wallet, of every family.
Dining credits are determined by which Disney Dining Plan you have purchased and by the number of nights of your stay at a Walt Disney World® Resort hotel. Here is the breakdown of the Disney Dining Plan that includes 1 Quick Service, 1 Table Service, and 2 Snacks for a 4-night stay:
Total number of quick service meal credits per person: 4
Total number of table service meal credits per person: 4
Total number of snack credits available per person: 8
The best part, you have the magic of being able to allocate your credits as you please based on your plans each day. There may be a day you wish to use 3 of your 4 table service credits....and you can! You will have access to your Dining Plan as soon as you arrive and your unused credits do not expire until 11:59pm on the day of your departure.
Shelly, I'd love to hear back from you if you purchased a Quick Service Dining Plan or the Deluxe Dining Plan, as your credit allotments will vary from the example I gave above.
Another great tip: download the latest version of the My Disney Experience Mobile App for your smartphone. Included is a new feature that allows you to check your credits (also known as entitlements) from your phone! You'll also find your remaining credits listed on your receipts.
I hope this is helpful, Shelly! I love the
Disney Dining Plan, so please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you should have any additional questions. You can also select the highlighted link for even more detailed information.
