Hello, Natalie! Thanks for bringing another great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
While there aren’t any Disney-operated shuttles to transport you from your hotel to the parks, you do have a few options to get to the Disneyland Resort. First, as you mentioned, is walking from the hotel to the park gates. Although in looking at a map, it could be a bit of a trek, especially after a long day at the parks. You might able to walk to the Mickey and Friends parking structure from your hotel. From there, you can hop on a tram that will take you to the parks. However, once you’ve made the journey to the parking structure, you are already more than halfway to the parks so you may just want to continue walking from that point.
Your best bet might be to take
public transportation. The Anaheim Resort Transportation (ART) travels various routes around the Disneyland Resort and other local travel destinations. There is a route that travels along Ball Road and will drop you off at the Disneyland Resort. You can view route maps online to find the nearest stop and you can purchase passes online in advance. You might even have the option of buying an ART pass at your hotel.
Once you arrive at the Disneyland Resort, you’ll be glad to know that everything is accessible by foot. Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park are located directly across from one another and it takes only one or two minutes to hop between parks if you have a
Park Hopper ticket. The Downtown Disney District and the three Disneyland Resort Hotels are also within walking distance so feel free to enjoy all the shopping and dining available.
I hope this helps. Have a magnificent time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
