Hi there! I'm staying at the Contemporary in May...my question is what is the best way to get from the Contemporary to Polynesian then from Polynesian to Epcot? And is it possible to do everything in Hollywood Studio in 1/2 a day? Thanks for your help!

    Hey Nicole-

Last September we stayed at Disney's Contemporary Resort with a Theme Park view. It was outstanding seeing the HalloWishes nighttime spectacular from our balcony and waking up with the Magic Kingdom Park out our window. The convenience to get anywhere at Walt Disney World Resort whether by monorail, bus, ferry or foot was worth every dollar.

I love using www.ourlaughingplace.com’s Transportation Wizard. It is located in the top right corner of their website. Using the Transportation Wizard will give you, if applicable, several options to get from Disney’s Contemporary Resort to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and then to Epcot. The best option is to hop on the monorail and take it two stops to the Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Then to get to Epcot I would walk from Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to the Transportation and Ticket Center to catch the Epcot monorail. You may also use the monorail to get between these two places if it is raining but walking is faster.

Typically Disney’s Hollywood Studios was a half day until my kids were old enough to experience all the attractions. When they were younger we focused on the kids side of the park. Disney Junior-Live on Stage!, Jedi Training Academy, Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!, Muppet*Vision 3D, and Toy Story Midway Mania!. They now want more thrills so we have traded some of those experiences for The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Beauty and the Beast-Live on Stage and the triple inversions during Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith. We also love to mix in dining at Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano and a PB&J milkshake at 50's Prime Time Cafe. I would spend a relaxed day to enjoy it fully and see the shows.

Know that whether you spend a full or half day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios it will be filled with thrills, fun and great eats.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories!
