Welcome to planDisney Colleen!
During my last two visits to Walt Disney World I have stayed at
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. It is so relaxing with all the pools, the excitement of Old Port Royale, the sandy beaches, and the icing on the cake: the
Disney Skyliner!
You are certainly welcome to hop on the Disney Skyliner at
Disney's Riviera Resort. If you are staying in the Aruba section of Caribbean Beach, Riviera will be your closest station. If you are staying in Jamaica, Barbados, or Trinidad, the Caribbean Beach station will be closer. Regardless of your building, you might prefer the Caribbean Beach station if going to Disney's Hollywood Studios to avoid transferring.
My first time on the Disney Skyliner I was worried it might be too hot or too high and scary. But I instantly fell in love and now I lean toward staying at resorts that have access to the Skyliner. It really simplifies trips to
Disney's Hollywood Studios or EPCOT. And as a bonus, there is a Joffrey's Coffee and Tea kiosk at the Caribbean Beach station (their giant doughnuts are out of this world!)
While at Disney's Caribbean Beach, I hope you have time to explore this beautiful resort. The trails are tropical and there seems to be a
swimming pool everywhere you turn - a total of 6 pools to enjoy! The main pool is a hit with kids with its play area, waterfalls, and even a water slide.
Enjoy your magical stay at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort!
