Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Christine!
It’s always music to my ears when I hear from Guest who will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort soon! Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort has undergone a gorgeous transformation, and it gives me all the relaxing, tropical vacation vibes – I think you’re going to love staying there!
I just got back from a quick visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, and like you, I had heard that lotion was no longer an amenity in the resort hotel rooms, so I was determined to do some #resEARch. When I checked in to my room at
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, I noted that lotion was not in my room. I requested some from Mousekeeping, who did bring me a travel-sized bottle, and the Front Desk confirmed that lotion should still be an amenity.
Christine, I’ve heard conflicting reports, so my advice is to travel with lotion just in case. Should you find there is not lotion in your room, I recommend calling Mousekeeping to see if you can request some. You should also be able to purchase lotion in the resort’s gift shop – the H2O+ toiletries smell amazing, and they are a very popular souvenir.
Enjoy your upcoming stay at
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort! I have heard that
Sebastian’s Bistro has fantastic food, and my sources tell me that
Banana Cabana is a really great under-the-radar bar, with great food and service, and total island vibes. ChEARs to tropical drinks, pastel colors, and gorgeous sunsets on your visit!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
