Hi Joseph! Welcome to
planDisney, and thanks a bunch for stopping by with your question.
When you're planning to bring a tent or a pop-up camper to
The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, knowing exactly what kind of electrical hookups are available can make packing and preparation much easier.
The good news is that the campsites at Fort Wilderness are very well equipped when it comes to electrical service. Each campsite includes multiple electrical hookup options so that a wide variety of campers and equipment can be accommodated comfortably.
At every site, you will find three different electrical connections available. These include a 110 volt/20 amp outlet, a 110 volt/30 amp outlet, and a 220 volt/50 amp outlet. Having all three available means Guests can power everything from smaller camping setups to larger RVs without needing to worry about compatibility.
Even if you are staying in a tent or pop-up campsite, those connections can still be incredibly helpful for things like small appliances, lighting, battery charging, or any camping gear that requires power during your stay.
One thing I always like to recommend is bringing along any adapters or extension cords you may need for your particular setup, just to make sure everything connects smoothly once you arrive. It can make settling into your campsite that much easier.
Joseph, Fort Wilderness is such a wonderful place to stay. Between the peaceful wooded setting, the wildlife you might spot along the paths, and the unique camping atmosphere right in the middle of
Walt Disney World, it truly feels like a hidden gem on property. I hope you have an incredible stay out there under the pines!
Warm hugs,
Ana Paula
