Mom And Daughter Horseback Riding Excursion

    I'm staying at Bay Lake Tower in Oct. and have read about changes to the monorail schedule. I have breakfast reservations at Polynesian at 7:30 am before the monorail opens the resort route. What is the best way to get there since monorail will be closed

    Thanks so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  It sounds like you have a great vacation planned!  A stay at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort including a breakfast at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort sounds wonderful.  I love the sleek and modern feel of Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, and a visit to the lush tropical paradise of Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is always relaxing for me.

    While the monorails are being enhanced, you should find bus or watercraft transportation that mimics the monorail transportation during the hours that the monorail would typically operate but is not during the enhancements.  To get to your 7:30 a.m. reservation, there should be a bus or boat that will take you from Disney's Contemporary Resort to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.  There are also often buses that will take guests to early morning character breakfasts.  I suggest that you check with a cast member at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort the night before your breakfast reservation at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort to ask which mode of transportation will be available for you that morning.
