I'm staying around 10miles away from disneyland, what's the best way for me to get to the park by 3am reliably? I've heard horror stories of rider share being canceled.

Hi Daniel, and welcome to planDisney! Given your early planned arrival at the Disneyland Resort, I'm guessing you'll be participating in the Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon? It will be frightfully fun with a Halloween theme, Disney Character sightings, entertainment, and more planned. Let's talk about getting there!

While rideshare services are definitely an option, you might want to consider renting a car, given that your drive will be so early in the morning. By renting a car, you'll have total control over when you depart, and you won't have to stress about potential delays to getting on the road. You can also look into booking a traditional taxi or a private car service. On September 7, 2025, the Toy Story Parking Area will be available to Guests starting at 3:00 a.m., and standard parking rates apply.

Please note, Daniel, that road closures will be in place for the half marathon, with some taking effect as early as midnight. Regardless of how you choose to get to the Resort, make sure whoever is driving is aware of any detours.

You can find more information about race weekend in the digital EXPO guide, including details for your race day, a preview of what to expect at the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo, costume guidelines, safety tips, and more.

While you are here at the Disneyland Resort, Daniel, I hope you have a chance to enjoy some time in the parks. The Resort has transformed for Halloween Time, with festive decorations, seasonal overlays of a few popular attractions, themed merchandise, and more. After the race, I'm sure you'll be excited to enjoy some delicious food. Visit the Disney Parks Blog to check out the Halloween Foodie Guide and scope out some options. I'm excited to try the plant-based Meatball Slider from Royal Street Veranda.

Daniel, good luck with your big race! I hope you can find a reliable and convenient solution for getting to the Resort ahead of the event. If you have any other questions, please reach out. We're always happy to help here at planDisney. You've got this, Daniel. Like Hercules, you can go the distance!
